Lin Homer, Chief Executive, UK Border and Immigration Agency
“And now the LGBT Network is proud to present to you the very first annual Lin Homer Award, (applause) recognising those who promote violence, hatred and death against the LGBT community. (boos, jeers, objects thrown at stage)
Our very first Lin Homer award is going to an incredibly deserving winner, one who has done her upmost in the last few weeks and months to facilitate the murder of gay people. Of course she hasnt done it all alone, but she is certainly the one with the most direct responsibility for these actions, and it is her we honour here tonight.
The winner, and incidentally the woman who inspired these prestigious awards, the Chief Executive of the UK’s Border Agency, Ms Lin Homer!
(roaring applause)
Now unfortunately Ms Homer could not be with us tonight, I believe she is too busy signing death warrants, but she did offer this message.
“The simple presence of either a law or a culture that frowns upon homosexuality is not of itself a reason (to grant asylum].”
And on that note, lets all just be glad for her that she is not a Nigerian Lesbian or a Ugandan Bisexual.

I think that the award could not have gone to a more deserving person, after all, how many people do you know that can spread insensitive and hurtful comments – and… pick up a pay packet for it, at the End of the Month.
Perhaps we should just call it the Border Agency awards… I’m sure that with show that Lin and the Rt. Hon. Jacqui Smith are running, we have many undiscovered contenders still waiting in the sidelines.
