Statement regarding Euro BNP MEPs
Statement from the LGBT Network – BNP seats in the Euro Elections 2009:
The LGBT Network is saddened and deeply disturbed at the unprecedented numbers
of votes for the British National Party in the European Elections 2009. The
so-called protest votes for the BNP have served only to elevate the party
further onto the public stage, and somehow validate their racist, fascist and
all together discriminatory views on a European platform.
This truly is a sad day for European democracy.
