A PinkNews.co.uk survey has found that 69 per cent of gay respondents think Radio 1 DJ Chris Moyles should be sacked over a “homophobic” imitation of gay singer Will Young. The figures come after Chris Smith, the former head of Ofcom, criticised the BBC for allowing Moyles to continue making anti-gay comments. Read more »

I was happy to hear of the story quoted in Pink News, describing the Radical
‘Christian’ broadcast which has now been pulled from American television.
I was abhorred, but not shocked, after having the displeasure of watching
the stomach churning video.

The LGBT Network made a recent Freedom of Information request to find out how many serving police officers have been reported for homophobic conduct.
The Constabulary confirmed that over the past 5 years:
13 complaints have been made against serving police officers within Devon and Cornwall. 6 complaints are described as unsubstantiated, 6 complaints being dealt with [...] Read more »

The LGBT Network submitted a petition to the Scottish Parliament, calling on the Scottish Parliament to urge the Scottish Government to amend the Marriage (Scotland) Act 1977 to allow members of the same sex to register a civil marriage, or a religious one, if the faith group consents.
